DoIT's Shared Web Hosting Service provides a web publishing environment for for UW-Madison departments on Linux/Apache (LAMP), Windows IIS and Java platforms. This site contains the information you will need to publish and manage your web account(s).

• The Publish section contains information about connecting to your web site via Secure FTP. Step by step instructions for many popular SFTP clients are provided here. SFTP access is restricted to the UW Campus. If using an off campus IP# customers need to first connect to the Campus VPN with NetID.
• The Features section contains information on various options available for use within your web site, such as form email, password protection of folders, adding a search, web usage statistics and more.
• The Account Info section provides contact management, billing information and more.
• The FAQ section answers general questions about publishing access and account management and platform-specific questions for Windows IIS, Linux/Apache (LAMP), Windows IIS via Plesk and Java accounts.
