Secure FX SFTP settings

• With Secure FTP the ID, password and content are encrypted as they travel over the internet.
• Secure FTP access is restricted to the wisc.edu domain. If using an off campus IP# or the UW wireless Please see Virtual Private Network information
• You can download a free Secure FTP client on the DoIT Shelf: Windows/Secure FX -- OR -- Mac/Fugu

Open the Secure FX FTP client and click the "Quick Connect" button:

For Protocol select -> SFTP

Hostname enter: rso.wisc.edu

Enter your username supplied to your main RSO contact

Push Accept & Save when the New Host Key box pops up.

Enter your Password:

Make sure you save your files in the html directory:
